~> Conclusion

I really enjoyed this class. I mean, aside from the fact that I love to read, I can say I learnt a lot this years about literature, but not that kind of literature that we see every year, the one full of definitions, genres and authors... But the one that taught me how something as simple as a taxi, can be related to a broken heart, how there are some brave people in the world, that have the sufficient courage to put in paper something as terrible and painful as war, only because they don't want to pretend that nothing ever happened and how the way a couple talk to each other (either by prose or verse) define the kind of love they have, the level of maturity, and the level of reality.
Also, I loved the idea of creating our own blogs, I think it was a very good idea, because this is another kind of work and at the same time we had the opportunity of expressing ourselves.
I think I'll miss this class, but no one knows ;)

Ok, I loved the book, I mean, usually what I like to read are romantic comedies or novels, I had read some "fantasy" stories, and one or two suspense stories, but I don't know, I really liked it, the way it was written, the story itself, the combination of characters, and how the author played with some of the names (like Door), at first I couldn't understand what the story was going to be about, couldn't find the relation between the explanation of Richard's life with Vandemar and Croup, but then they were all at the same place at the same time. Also I liked how as the story kept going, they explained you the reason why Jessica dind't pay attention to Door when she was bleeding (because the people from one London couldn't see the people from the other London), and why the "bad guy" first wanted Door to be killed, then protected and then caught.
But what I liked the most about the story, was that the characters that I thought were bad, turned up to be the good ones, because for example, when Vandemar and Croup told Door and Richard that there was a traitor between them, we thought (because I include myself) that there was The Carabas, but at the end they discovered that the traitor was Hunter. And what I think that amazed me the most, was to discover that the character who was behind everything, was Islington. So in conclusion, I think it is a great story, very explicit, and interesting.

In general I liked this story, I mean, I've always liked love stories, but there were also some details that were kind of boring. For example, Hero and Claudio's love for me, was too silly, because they were always talking to each other in verse (like we said in class) and that wasn't an effort for them. I think that is because they were a representation of "young love" when everything is pink and romantic, when there are no problems, and we see the other person as perfect. On the other hand, what I liked the most was Benedick and Beatrice's love, I think they were really funny and that in a certain way, they were honest, because as at first they "hated" each other and even the said they would rather be dead before loving each other, in a certain way we can say that they "know each other" with their faults and virtues. Their love I think was in a higher level than the other's, another characteristic was that they talked to each other in prose, and even in a part of the movie, there is Benedick trying to write a poem for Beatrice, but he can't. They just can not talk like this, and for me, that is the reason why I think their love is amazing and real.
